CarSmarti Cancellation and Return Policy

Thank you for choosing CarSmarti for your anti-theft services. We strive to provide excellent service to all our customers. Please read the following cancellation and return policy carefully before making a purchase.

  1. Cancellation Policy
    a. Retail Customers: Retail customers may cancel their service order within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. To cancel your order, please contact our customer service team at contact@carsmarti.com with your order details.
    b. Wholesale Customers: Wholesale customers who purchase services at a discounted wholesale rate must adhere to the cancellation terms outlined in their wholesale agreement. Please refer to your wholesale agreement for cancellation policies.
  2. Return Policy
    a. Retail Customers: Retail customers may return their purchased services within 30 days of the original purchase date for a full refund, minus any applicable shipping charges. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at contact@carsmarti.com with your order details. Returned services must be in their original condition and packaging.
    b. Wholesale Customers: Wholesale customers must adhere to the return policies outlined in their wholesale agreement. Please refer to your wholesale agreement for return procedures and eligibility criteria.
  3. Refunds
    a. Refunds for cancelled orders or returned services will be processed within 5-7 business days after the returned items have been received and inspected.
    b. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used for the purchase.
  4. Exceptions
    a. Services that have been activated or used are not eligible for return or refund, unless they are found to be defective or not as described.
    b. Special promotions, discounts, or bundled services may have different cancellation and return policies. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the specific promotion or offer.

Cancellation Policy

a. Retail Customers

Retail customers may cancel their service order within 48 hours of activation for a full refund. To initiate a cancellation, please contact our customer service team by email at info@carsmarti.com or by phone at 888-992-6659, and provide your order details. 

For all cancellations, if any parts, materials, decals, or components have been issued or shipped, they must be returned intact, unused, and in original condition and packaging. All returned materials are subject to inspection to qualify for a full refund. 

If returned within 30 calendar days of activation and in acceptable condition, retail customers qualify for a full refund of the amount paid, subject to inspection and any applicable requirements. 

After 30 calendar days, a minimum $50 restocking fee may be deducted from any refundable down payment made at the time of activation. After 60 calendar days from activation, the down payment is no longer eligible for refund, as services have been rendered. 

All ongoing maintenance, monitoring, management, subscription, or service fees (whether billed monthly or annually) are subject to automatic renewal. Customers may cancel at any time to discontinue future charges. If cancellation occurs within 30 calendar days of a renewal charge (monthly or annual), the customer may request a refund of that most recent renewal fee from the date of renewal. 

Additional conditions or requirements may apply depending on the service package selected. 

b. Wholesale / Wholesale Distributor Customers

Wholesale / wholesale distributor customers who purchase services through a discounted distributor are subject to the cancellation terms outlined in their wholesale agreement. 

If cancellation is requested within 48 hours of activation, customers should first contact their distributor to assist with facilitating the cancellation. However, CarSmarti manages the active service account directly. After 48 hours from activation, or once materials or components have been issued or shipped (if applicable to the selected package), customers must coordinate directly with CarSmarti for return processing and cancellation. 

If materials and services are returned within 30 calendar days of activation and are intact and in acceptable condition, customers may qualify for a full refund of the amount paid, subject to inspection and the terms of the applicable wholesale agreement. 

After 30 calendar days, a minimum $50 restocking fee may apply. After 60 calendar days from activation, down payments are not eligible for refund due to services rendered. 

Additional terms and conditions may apply depending on the service package selected and the wholesale agreement. 

 

Refunds 

Refunds for cancelled orders or returned services will be initiated within 5–7 business days after returned materials have been received and inspected (if applicable). 

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used at the time of activation and purchase. In certain circumstances, a check may be issued directly to the customer. 

Processing times may vary depending on financial institutions or payment providers. 

 

Exceptions 

Services that have been activated, materially fulfilled, or utilized may not be eligible for refund, except where required by law or if found to be defective or not as described. 

If returned materials are damaged, incomplete, altered, or not in original condition, a minimum $50 restocking fee may apply (additional fees may apply depending on the component and condition). 

Special promotions, discounts, bundled services, distributor-specific offers, or custom packages may have different cancellation and return terms. Customers should refer to the specific promotion, service agreement, or wholesale distributor terms for details.
